The Bureau County Farm Bureau donated $2,571 to the Bureau County Extension Unit at the April Board meeting, thanks to generous donations received from Farm Bureau members.  Jim May, District 4 Representative (right) presented the check to Jill Guynn, Unit Director of the University of Illinois Extension Unit in Bureau County.

County Farm Bureau members responded to the opportunity to donate while paying their organization dues this past fall, which resulted in these available funds to donate to Extension. In June the Bureau County Farm Bureau will donate another $2,000 to the organization. Monies will be used to support local programs in Bureau County.
